We decided to re-present this old fashion recipe, invented in 1800 by a pharmacist of Serralunga d'Alba, who wanted to produce a tonic based on Barolo wine, adding to it Calissaja bark, other spices, and a little amount of sugar.
We took this recipe and adding a bit of alpine herbs (25 different kinds of herbs) we created a unique elisir, which combines the complexity and finesse of Barolo with the exotic flavours of bark.
